Mediterranean Driftwood Furniture is a systematic solution to a set of ecological problems, spanning from marine pollution and beach litter to household hazardous chemical use. Behind this approach are a group of committed individuals using their knowledge and creativity as an alternative to 'business as usual':

Adina Avisar is an agricultural economist with previous experience in the agricultural development field. Her work in Africa with agroforestry projects convinced her that sustainable use of forest resources is one of the most important elements of economic development.

Avivit Graff is a graphic designer who has focused on tailored projects with ecological themes. Her experience with design of sustainable furniture began with while a student at the California College of Arts and Crafts, when she worked with scrap-wood dismantled from old barnyards.

Noam Gressel is the founder of Assif-Strategies Ltd., an environmental firm working to integrate environmental value with organizational strategies. Clients include businesses, government agencies and non-profit organizations.
